Who is eligible for our initiatives:

Adolescent Girls (Ages 12-18)
- Girls with limited access to technology need foundational digital literacy/mentoring to excel in their education and personal development.
-Those who may be interested in pursuing careers in STEM and need to build early skills to support future opportunities.
Women (Ages 18+)
- Women seeking to start or improve entrepreneurship with digital capabilities.
- Those in rural or remote areas with limited access to professional mentors/digital resources are looking to enhance their ability to participate in the digital economy.
Youth (18-30 years)
Young people who wish to develop digital/entrepreneurship skills to improve their employability, pursue higher education, or explore digital entrepreneurship/employability opportunities.
Individuals with Limited Access
People who have had little exposure to technology or formal digital education and want to acquire the skills needed to succeed in a technology-driven world.

How to Apply for Our Initiatives

She&Tech offers an easy and inclusive application process to ensure that women, girls, and youth from diverse backgrounds can benefit from the program. Here’s how to apply:

Step 1: Eligibility Check
• Target Audience: This program is designed for women, girls, and youth from underserved or marginalised communities with limited or no experience in digital technology.

• No prior experience required: We welcome individuals with no background in technology, as this program starts with foundational skills.

Step 2: Application Form
• Online Application: Interested participants can apply via the She&Tech website. The application form asks for basic information such as name, age, location, education level, and why they wish to join the program.

• Application Deadline: There will be clear deadlines for each cohort. Ensure to apply early, as spaces may be limited depending on funding and program availability.

Step 3: Assessment and Selection
• Initial Assessment: Some applicants may be asked to complete a short digital literacy self-assessment to gauge their current skill level and determine which cohort or training level they would be best suited for (beginner, intermediate, or advanced).

• Selection Process: We aim for a diverse group of participants, prioritising those with limited access to digital resources and those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Step 4: Confirmation and Enrollment
• Enrollment Confirmation: Once selected, applicants will receive an official confirmation via email, along with instructions on how to access the program.

• Program Orientation: Participants will be invited to a program orientation (either online or in-person) where they will be introduced to the curriculum, schedule, and resources available.
