MentorMatch is a 20-weeks initiative that provides mentorship for individual in STEM careers as well entrepreneurs providing them with access to professional mentors, capacity building, hands-on guidance, resources, and networking opportunities to cultivate their skills and ignite their innovative potential in a rapidly evolving marketplace.
MentorMatch will empower participants by fostering a collaborative environment between mentors and mentees where participants will gain the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate their career journeys effectively.
Who should apply as a mentee?
- Anyone between the ages 15-60 years
- Tired of your current role and you want to start your business or side hustle?
- Retired and want to stay engaged?
- Starting/in university and don’t know what to do with your degree?
- Students and recent graduates in related fields.
- Career changers interested in STEM.
- Parents or guardians of aspiring tech professionals.
Who should volunteer as a mentor?
- Mentors should have at least 5 years relevant experience and knowledge in their field, particularly in STEM, entrepreneurship and personal development. This might include years of relevant work experience, leadership roles, or specialized knowledge.
- Ideally, mentors have a proven track record of success or have overcome challenges in their careers that make them well-equipped to offer valuable advice.
